Born in 1977, Thomas “S33K” Letscher’s journey into the captivating world of art began at the tender age of five, inspired by his early experiences with music through classical piano. This foundational love for creation ignited his passion for contemporary music composition, laying the groundwork for a lifelong exploration of artistic expression.
From a young age, Thomas has been driven by the desire to translate the vivid images that dance within his imagination into visual form. Eschewing traditional institutional art studies, he boldly ventured into 3D modeling, launching a successful IT career by 20, and founding some companies (Opium-Art, in particular). For me, 3D technology is not just a tool; it’s the cornerstone of his innovative graphic creations. As a proud member of a new generation of digital artists, he embraces the legitimacy and significance of digital art in today’s cultural landscape. Thanks to 3D Printing and with the TØM S33K LETSCHER name, I became ranked as a contemporary artist.
There’s also this other, more rigorous and uncompromising side of me that makes me create music. Music is no more and no less than maths, which extends musical composition to an infinite field. Music is my air, my spinal cord. I couldn’t survive without writing or touching a guitar or a piano. My universe ranges from chanson (dark country, French) to the most extreme metal, via electro and, more recently, rap.
And finally, there’s family, clan, and friends. I love traveling and meeting new cultures. I’ve been lucky enough to visit so many beautiful countries (Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Bali, Canada, Tunisia, Algeria…) today I like meeting people who respect other cultures.
